NATURAL MONUMENTS

Natural monuments are single formations of living (animate) and non-living (inanimate) nature or their clumping with their special environmental, scientific, cultural, historic or landscape value and characterizing with individual features distinguishing them among other creatures, f.ex. monumental trees.

Nature monuments are placed on the area of Wolsztyn Forest District either individually or as a group of trees, two surface monuments have been named.

The shortlist of existing nature monuments on the lands of the Forest District:

- 27 nature monuments: 22 single trees, 5 tree groups;

- 2 surface monuments of combined 0.95 hectares in total.
